One of our biggest project so far, the ISU World Figure Skating Championships held in Milan has been a huge challenge. It took a whole year of work, starting from the logo design and the visual communication – digital and printing material – heading finally to the full venue decoration.

The idea of the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2018 was inspired from the famous “Nodi Vinciani”. It is a very complex pattern that Leonardo da Vinci, a fundamental artist for Milano and Italy, used in many of his paintings. The development of the knot inside the circle recalls a world of light blue ice on which the athlete is skating: it is red like the passion of fire that fuels his desire of victory.
